Greater Manchester EPC can help you comply with Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards.
With over 10 years experience in building energy efficiency you can be confident we can help you achieve an EPC rating E or above.
The Minimum Energy Efficiency Standard (MEES) was introduced in March 2015 by the Energy Efficiency (Private Rented Property) (England and Wales) Regulations 2015. The MEES Regulations originate from the Energy Act 2011 which contained the previous coalition government’s package of energy efficiency policies including the Green Deal.
As from 1st April 2018 new MEES legislation makes it unlawful to grant or renew an existing lease for properties with an EPC rating of F or G. The MEES regulations will then apply to all existing domestic tenancies by 1st April 2020 and existing non-domestic leases by 1st April 2023. It is the responsibility of the local council to enforce the legislation and should you not comply you are at are a risk of being fined.
With the recent 2018 Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES) being passed into law, we are now offering MEES Compliance Services that help landlords and businesses improve the EPC ratings of property portfolios. If you have properties that do not meet the new MEES requirements, then you need to start bringing these properties up to standard, in line with the legislation.
When it comes to improving the rating of your EPC our experience will pay off in the long run. With over 10 years experience in building energy compliance our MEES Consultancy Service guarantees to provide the most Practical & Cost-Effective Solutions tailored to your property.

We will provide you with a FREE all-inclusive quotation for all energy consultancy fees including all initial & final reports.
Our energy assessor must visit the property to produce a preliminary EPC. The check will conclude the accuracy of the existing EPC and allow us to take into consideration any improvement works that your property may require.
Detailed Remodelling & Cost-effective Improvement Plan (MEES Compliance Advisory Report)
Once we have established the current situation in step 2; and if necessary, we will determine the most practical and cost-effective energy efficiency improvement for your property to achieve an EPC of E or better. This will be detailed in our bespoke MEES Compliance Advisory Report which you will receive a copy.
Making the Improvements
If required, we can provide quotes or for us to complete the works highlighted in the report provided in Step 3. We can also investigate whether your property in eligible for government funding to cover some/or all improvement costs.
