Greater Manchester EPC have over 10 years combined experience in domestic energy assessments and SAP calculations for new dwellings and conversions. We have worked with established residential housing developers and building contractors throughout Manchester and the UK.
SAP is the Government’s Standard Assessment Procedure for Energy Rating of Dwellings. It is used to demonstrate compliance with Part L of Building Regulations, for dwellings in England and Wales.
Design Stage – Building Control require a Design Stage SAP Calculation with the submission of your Building Regulations Application. Without the SAP Calculation compliance of Part L2 of the Building Regulations, Building Control will not allow the project to start on site.
As-built Stage – Building Control require an As-built Stage SAP Calculation and EPC when the building is completed. Without this paperwork it is unlikely that the building will achieve final Building Control approval.
